Training Courses

Leitrim Flowers has been running successful training courses and workshops for many years. We are at the forefront of providing training for Ireland’s Flower Farmers and twice a year we provide a training course specifically designed for those wishing to establish a cut flower business.

 

Our courses are aimed at both the amateur and the professional. Courses are informative, interactive and enjoyable and include workshops on cottage gardening, creating a cut flower garden and natural flower arranging. We can also design a tailor-made course to suit an individual or group.

 

We run our training courses at the renovated cottage on site. The cottage has a traditional lay-out and a lovely cottage garden. We provide home-cooked food in a warm atmosphere and courses are as much about enjoying a day out with like-minded people as anything else.

Leitrim Flowers is very accessible and well serviced by road, rail and bus. We are an hour and a half’s drive from Dublin, an hour from Athlone and just four miles off the N4. Within a fifteen minute radius we have an extensive range of B&Bs and hotels, restaurants and bars. Carrick on Shannon is a ten minute drive away and an excellent base from which to take a few days’ break.
